We’re thrilled to welcome Adam Maxwell to the Respiratory Care WA Board.

Adam Maxwell is a Chartered Accountant and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with more than 20 years’ experience in finance, governance, strategy and organisational leadership across the health, research and not-for-profit sectors.

He is currently Chief Financial Officer at The Kids Research Institute Australia, where he oversees finance, procurement, contracts and corporate governance. Previously, he held senior executive finance roles including Chief Financial Officer at Rocky Bay, leading major organisational transformation, financial sustainability initiatives, capital projects and governance reforms.

Adam brings extensive board and committee experience and is passionate about helping purpose-driven organisations achieve long-term impact through strong governance, strategic decision-making and financial sustainability. He also serves as a director of Respirion Pharmaceuticals and Personal Benefit Fund (PBF).

As a Board Member of Respiratory Care WA, Adam contributes expertise in finance, risk and organisational strategy, supporting improved outcomes for people living with respiratory conditions.
