Chris Bath

President

Chris is a result-focused business leader with over 20 years’ experience in the energy and resources sector. Chris has lived and worked in Indonesia and Singapore and held the roles of Chief Financial Officer and General Manager for companies operating in Australia and South-East Asia and is currently a senior executive with Matador Capital.

Chris has significant experience in the areas of commercial management, financial management, risk management, and governance and has a strong interest in the role of culture and leadership to successfully drive alignment to organisational strategy and objectives. Chris has a Bachelor of Business, is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He joined the Respiratory Care WA Board of Directors in February 2018 and became President in March 2019.

Kerrie-Anne King

Treasurer

Kerrie-Anne holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Accountant (CA ANZ).  She has extensive accounting and finance expertise developed over 25 years and began her career in a top tier accounting firm in the Assurance practice before moving into the Commerce industry.

Kerrie-Anne has worked at both London Stock Exchange and ASX listed entities in financial and management accounting specialising in acquisitions and due diligence, compliance and governance.  She has experience across a range of industries including corporate advisory and investing, mining, retail, insurance, marketing and property management.

Alex Micallef-Jones

Alex is Consulting Partner at PwC with 20 years’ experience across a diverse range of industries. Alex commenced his career in the UK as a Civil Engineer but having worked for two global engineering firms and a Tier one miner Alex transitioned to PwC’s strategy team. 

Over the past 10 years, Alex has worked for PwC across a range of competencies from Strategy through to operations. Alex’s expertise lies in orchestrating large-scale program implementation and business transformation across the public and private sector. As a healthcare consultant and (former) Chartered Civil Engineer, Alex thrives on tackling societal challenges head-on and his adeptness in navigating intricate stakeholder dynamics has been instrumental in spearheading some of the most intricate change initiatives in Western Australia including lead roles on the States Covid-19 operational response and track and trace technology solution, the Governments Statewide Recovery Program and the vaccination program.

Alex continues to take a lead role across a range of industries on Business led, technology driven transformations enhancing productivity, fostering consumer-centric approaches, and driving business adoption. Alex is recognised as a values-driven leader, deeply committed to the welfare of his clients, communities and team members alike. Alex holds a governance position for a small Fremantle based not-for-profit and was previously Board Chair at East Fremantle Primary School.

Claudine Cerda-Pavia

Claudine is an experienced management consultant, and provides consulting services to health professional businesses as well across a range of industries in strategic procurement.

Her time working in business allowed her to specialise in best-practice strategic procurement, change management and communications and negotiations. Claudine has experience in oil and gas procurement, supply and finance, as well as managing consulting engagements in procurement, supplier relationship management, project management and change management.

Claudine is also a qualified junior doctor and has spent time working in general medicine, palliative care, orthopaedics and emergency medicine at St John of God Midland and Subiaco Hospitals. Claudine Cerda-Pavia was a driving force in St John of God Murdoch’s collaboration with Binar Futures and continues to be heavily involved in ensuring healthcare is accessible to the Aboriginal youth.

Matthew Hansen

Matt practices as the Principal Solicitor at his firm, Extent Legal, and serves as Special Counsel at Mining + Heritage Legal. He has previously held in-house counsel roles for two Aboriginal corporations, New Standard Energy and Rio Tinto, and served as CEO of Pantera Lithium (ASX: PFE). He now holds a position as a Non-Executive Director.

Matt is also a board member of MADALAH Limited, a not-for-profit organisation providing secondary, transition, and tertiary education scholarships for Indigenous students from remote and regional communities to attend Western Australia’s leading boarding schools and universities, as well as Scitech.

A proud Noongar man, Matt advises on energy, resources, and regulatory matters, with extensive expertise in native title, Aboriginal heritage, Indigenous affairs, and community engagement.

Mike Erickson

Mike is a Mining Executive and Director with 40 years’ experience in the mining industry. A geologist by training, with extensive experience in operational leadership.  Mike was the former Senior Vice President of the Australian Region for AngloGold Ashanti, a role he held for 10 years until his retirement in 2023.  A strong advocate of the industry, having served on the Board of the Minerals Council of Australia and the Advisory Board of the CME of Western Australia for over 9 years.  Mike now works part time as a Corporate Advisor for the Carey Group, a leading 100% Aboriginal-owned mining, civil, construction and training company.

He is passionate about the value that a diverse and inclusive workplace can unlock, having been an active mentor in the Women in Mining (WA) Mentoring program since 2012.  Mike was awarded the CME Women in Resources Champion Award in 2023 for promoting inclusion in the resources sector and the highly prestigious GJ Stokes Memorial Award in 2024 by the Diggers & Dealers Forum for services to the Mining Industry.

Mike is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and Governance Institute of Australia, and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

René Migliore

René brings over 25 years’ experience in advertising and media roles in Perth and Melbourne. He has a 14-year history with 303 over two stints, leaving in 2013 when he was Head of Business Management, then returning in 2017 as General Manager of Mediahub, the media agency in the group. René had made the switch to media when he joined Initiative as Client Lead primarily on RAC media.

As MD at 303ML, René looks for any way he can to support the team in delivering exceptional creative, media and business outcomes for clients, with a particular passion for health and behaviour change work. An active participant of the advertising and communications industry, René has been an AdSchool lecturer, an Oasis Ball committee member, is the current Patron of PADC (Perth Advertising and Design Club), a member and contributor to the Advertising Council of Australia, a member of the AICD and former board member of Variety WA.
