We focus on key areas such as air quality, smoking and vaping regulation, lung health education, and accessibility to respiratory care services.
Our Advocacy
Respiratory Care WA advocates to raise awareness and profile of respiratory conditions affecting Western Australians.
By engaging with policymakers, healthcare professionals, experts in the field, and the community, we strive to drive healthier environments and improve outcomes for those living with respiratory conditions.
Our advocacy ensures these issues receive the attention they deserve, helping to create a healthier, more informed community.
Helpful Resource: Perth Pollen Count and Forecast Service
The Perth Pollen Count and Forecast Service was developed to help alert people with hay fever and / or seasonal asthma of the likelihood of high grass and pollen levels so that they can prepare accordingly.
A collaboration between Curtin University, the University of Melbourne and University of Tasmania, Perth Pollen is Western Australia’s first and only real-time pollen monitoring and forecast service.
