Community Services and Outreach

Respiratory Care WA works alongside metro, regional and remote communities across Western Australia to improve access to respiratory health education and support.

We provide community-based asthma and COPD education sessions designed to help people better understand and manage their lung health with confidence.

Delivered in person and tailored to the needs of each group, sessions can include asthma and COPD first aid, medications and inhaler devices, trigger management, and practical tips to support healthier breathing and everyday wellbeing.

We also partner with community groups to provide lung function testing closer to home, helping reduce barriers to care and improving access to respiratory health services within local communities.

For Sport Groups

Learn how to create a safer and more supportive sporting environment with practical respiratory training tailored for coaches, trainers, volunteers, parents and teachers. Our sessions help sporting clubs and organisations build the knowledge and confidence to support athletes with respiratory conditions so they can participate safely, perform at their best and stay active in the sport they love.
