Reflect RAP

Respiratory Care WA’s vision is for every Western Australian facing a respiratory condition to have access to personalised care.

Respiratory conditions such as asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) disproportionately impact Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians are twice as likely to have asthma and experience significantly higher rates of respiratory illness and related health complications.

Respiratory Care WA recognises these inequities and is committed to improving access to culturally safe, community-based respiratory care, education and support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Western Australia.
