We’re thrilled to welcome Matthew Hansen to the Respiratory Care WA Board.
Matthew is a proud Noongar man from Wagyl Kaip, bringing extensive legal and leadership experience.
He is the Principal Solicitor at his firm, Extent Legal, and Special Counsel at Mining + Heritage Legal, with a career spanning energy, resources, native title, First Nations affairs, and heritage.
He has also served as in-house counsel for two Aboriginal corporations, New Standard Energy and Rio Tinto, and as CEO of Pantera Lithium.
Currently, Matthew is a Non-Executive Director and board member of MADALAH Limited, a not-for-profit providing secondary, transition, and tertiary education scholarships to First Nations students from remote and regional communities to attend leading boarding schools and universities across Western Australia, as well as Scitech.
We are delighted to have Matthew’s expertise and perspective to guide our work in delivering personalised, community-based support services for Western Australians living with asthma, COPD, and other respiratory conditions.
