Referrals

Respiratory Care WA has been supporting Western Australians living with respiratory conditions since 1964.

We provide free, personalised respiratory assessment, diagnosis, education and ongoing support for people living with asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions.

Referrals from a healthcare professional are required to access our Respiratory Hubs and clinics. Referrals can be made by general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, Aboriginal Health Services, and community health organisations.

Patients can access our Respiratory Digital Health Service through a health professional referral or by self-referring directly. The service provides free respiratory education and support via phone or video call, ensuring people across Western Australia can access care wherever they live. This service is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the PHN Program and commissioned by WA Primary Health Alliance.
