Respiratory Care WA is pleased to announce the appointments of Veen Lerma as Clinical Lead for Adults and Siaw Chai as Growth, Brand and Development Manager, strengthening the organisation’s leadership as it continues to expand its services, partnerships and impact across Western Australia.
While taking on new leadership responsibilities, Veen and Siaw are already familiar faces within Respiratory Care WA, having each contributed to the organisation’s growth and service delivery over the past year in previous roles. Their appointments reflect both their commitment to Respiratory Care WA’s mission and the expertise they bring to supporting healthier communities across Western Australia.
Veen’s appointment comes at an important time for Respiratory Care WA’s adult health services, particularly through the Western Australian Department of Health’s Older Adults Health Hub initiative. As Clinical Lead for Adults, she will provide expert clinical leadership to support the delivery of person-centred programs that help Western Australians living with respiratory and chronic health conditions improve their wellbeing, maintain their independence and access the support they need to live well in their communities.
Having worked closely with consumers, clinicians and community stakeholders, Veen brings extensive experience in respiratory and chronic disease management, along with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for patients. Her leadership will be instrumental in shaping innovative and evidence-based services that respond to the needs of Western Australia’s growing adult and older adult population.
Siaw Chai’s appointment as Growth, Brand and Development Manager reflects Respiratory Care WA’s focus on strengthening its profile, partnerships and impact across Western Australia. With a background in communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement, Siaw has played a key role in enhancing the organisation’s brand presence and community connections. In this role, Siaw will lead strategic partnership, advocacy and brand initiatives that support organisational growth and connect more Western Australians with vital respiratory health services and support.
