Respiratory Care WA is excited to announce two new leadership appointments that will strengthen our work in delivering expert care, trusted advice, education and support to Western Australians living with respiratory conditions live a better quality of life.
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Rael Rivers as Acting Chief Executive Officer of Respiratory Care WA.
Rael brings over eight years of experience with the organisation, having held key leadership roles across our Health Services and Social Impact teams. Most recently, she served as Executive Manager of Strategic Programs, where she played a pivotal role in driving innovative initiatives and strengthening our community impact.
“We look forward to Ms. Rivers’ continued leadership as we remain focused on delivering vital, free respiratory support, diagnosis and education services across Western Australia,” says Respiratory Care WA’s Chair, Chris Bath.
Respiratory Care WA also welcomes Kimberley Stevenson in her new role as Chief Operating Officer.
With more than 20 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in Canada, Kim has led a wide range of health programs across both tertiary and community hospital settings.
In her more recent role as Executive Manager of Operations at Respiratory Care WA, she has shown a deep commitment to delivering best practice education and clinical support across our Children’s and Adult Respiratory Hubs in Perth and the South West, as well as through our health promotion and 1:1 telehealth programs.
