Since 1964, we have helped 300,000 Western Australians, 150,000 teachers, supported 20,000 people with our helpline, and provided services to thousands of regional, remote and Aboriginal people. We are striving to help every Western Australian facing respiratory conditions have personalised services to live their best life.
Our Impact
Respiratory Care WA have been helping Western Australians impacted by asthma and COPD for 60 years.
Supporting our fellow Western Australians
In 2024-25 we supported 7,307 Western Australians with asthma and COPD and their families through tailored respiratory education, support and lung function testing.
That’s an 85% increase on the previous year. Each person received the support they needed to manage their condition confidently and improve their quality of life.
Our impact extends far beyond clinic visits. It includes community outreach at the Binar Health Embassy, schools, aged care, prisons, and engagement with CALD and First Nations organisations, as well as ongoing collaboration with WA health professionals.
